FM Dimitrov at Thessaloniki Meeting with Greek Counterpart

Head of the Greek diplomacy Nikos Kotzias denied having said that in addition to the name the identity of Macedonians is being disputed. Following the Thessaloniki meeting with Macedonian counterpart Nikola Dimitrov he reiterated the stand that a lesson should be learned from history and afterward a solution will soon be found for the long-standing spat. “I have never said the name issue was related to the language or other issues,” stated Kotzias. Dimitrov, on his part, said that at the meeting in Thessaloniki, where the FMs of Bulgaria and Albania are also present, he and Kotzias discussed the regional cooperation
