“The laws concerning the Public Prosecutor, protected witnesses, Judicial Council and verification of facts are laws being asked by Brussels. Because of them, I postponed the session of the Committee on European Affairs at which the amendments to the draft law on languages were supposed to be reviewed,” MP Artan Grubi, Chairperson of the Committee on European Affairs, told Kanal 5 TV on Wednesday.  He had planned to postpone the session even before the visit of EU Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn, because of the importance of the projects that should be adopted this year. Grubi also told the TV station that he would schedule the session by the end of 2017.
